Affiliate Program FAQs

What is an affiliate program?

An affiliate program offers bloggers and website owners the opportunity to sell another company’s or person’s product, in exchange for a percentage of the sale. Affiliate programs use cookies to track referrals.

For Pickles & Honey’s affiliate program, if someone makes a purchase and the sale is tracked to your affiliate link anytime within the last 6 months, you receive a payment for 50% of the sale price.

What is E-junkie?

E-junkie manages the affiliate program for Pickles & Honey. They are located in downtown Tucson, Arizona. You can read their About page to learn more.

Can I change the display text in the original affiliate link or use an image instead of text?

Absolutely. Please refer back to Steps 9 and 10 on the Affiliate page for detailed instructions.

What happens if a person clicks on my affiliate link, but doesn’t buy something until later?

You will earn a commission for any purchases made within 6 months of someone clicking your affiliate link. This means that a person can click on your affiliate link, check out the item for sale, leave the page, and come back at a much later date to buy it—you will still get credit for their purchase.

Do I need a PayPal account?

Yes. We use PayPal to issue all payments.

When can I expect to be paid?

Payments are issued the 3rd week after the month that the sale occurred. For example, if you received credit for a sale on November 10th, you would receive a payment to your PayPal account the week of December 21st.
