We’re having a baby! And it’s a girl! And she’s 21 weeks and 4 days old!
Some of you reached out to Aaron and me already and knew what was up, based on my hints in a few posts describing a weird-for-me two month vegetable hiatus. Let me just say, first trimester fatigue, all day nausea, and food aversions are no joke! I’m really thankful I was able to eat well in the months leading up to getting pregnant because I lived off of bagels, saltines, and citrus for weeks, and a walk with the dogs was all I could handle exercise-wise—and even that was a legit struggle.
I plan to share more in a few upcoming posts as far as what I’ve been eating now that my appetite is back with a vengeance, supplements I’m taking, my must-have pregnancy products (spoiler: all the moisturizer!), books I’m finding helpful, and maybe a nursery tour if we can get our act together? If you’re interested in anything particular, let me know! And if you’re not interested, that’s okay too! I’ll still be keeping to my regular recipe posting schedule since I know you’re (mostly) here for the food. 😉
