I go through phases with my juicer. One week I’ll be completely infatuated with it and make juice each and every morning. The next week the thought of spending the 5 minutes it takes to prep produce and clean it afterwards is enough to send me hand first into the cereal box. Or chocolate chip bag, whichever is closer.
Generally though, after a solid week of giving my juicer the silent treatment, I crave the taste of freshly pressed apples, oranges, carrots, and whatever other fruits and veggies we happen to have that week. Except kale. Delicious in chip form, disgusting in juice. It only produces a tiny amount given its volume, but man, that stuff is strong!
Today’s blend of juice paired perfectly with the weather this morning – bright and sunny, and similar in color to the beautiful late fall foliage. It was exactly what I was craving.

So what are your thoughts on fresh juice? If you have a juicer, do you find you use it a lot, or is it just taking up valuable counter space? Got a favorite juice combination?
