Even though I consider myself Team Summer, I have to admit that I really love this time of year. It just feels so hopeful, doesn’t it? Longer days, flowers everywhere, less rain and more sunshine…all I want to do is sit outside, sip raspberry soda, and snack on something sweet. We’re also in prime brunch season, and I’m planning to make a couple of batches of my simple blueberry scones this weekend (one to freeze for later, one to devour way too quickly).
