Behind the scenes: Honey arrived on set in much better spirits this week. She took her spot in front of the camera, gladly donned the Irish (leprechaun?) hat, and calmly held her pose. I think she might love wearing hats, which wouldn’t be surprising because she also loves wearing coats, and boots, and anything that keeps her warm. Barley was more confused (“What is happening on my head?! Can I eat this?! This a toy, right?!”), but otherwise, our St. Patrick’s day celebration was a cakewalk compared to their recent game of scrabble.

P.S. Are you looking for something a little more traditional than tarragon salted dark chocolate chunk cookies for your St. Patrick’s Day celebration? Try my gluten-free Irish soda bread. I’m planning to make a loaf of that later this week, and maybe my Shamrock-inspired milkshake too, if it’s not 7 degrees outside.
