Are you slowly waking up from a holiday cookie coma? I’m right there with you, and I think I have just the drink to help ease the transition…or continue the celebration through the new year, depending on your perspective.
Perfect for a leisurely brunch, these mimosas are part traditional (champagne + oranges), part wintery goodness (cranberries), and part hippie dippy (homemade kombucha). And that actually sums up my recipe philosophy quite well: old favorites simplified to the essentials, with a seasonal and plant-based twist.
Side note: whenever anyone asks me to describe my recipe style, my mind either goes completely blank or I start spouting off the most generic, longest list of adjectives. {sigh} Don’t let me forget what I just wrote here.
I love everything about these simple and festive mimosas, but I’m especially enamored with the bright color. I want to wear it as a lip stain and a nail polish and a scarf. It’s such a happy antidote to winter’s often dreary shades of grey. Also, I feel like Aaron knocked it out of the park with these photos. These, combined with his recent chocolate peanut butter fudge shots, seriously make me swoon.
