Like most everyone else, I’m wondering how we’re already one week into September. Labor Day may have marked the unofficial end of the season, but Google tells me the last day of summer isn’t until September 22nd. Also, it’s supposed to be 104 all week in Sonoma, so as far as I’m concerned, let’s bask in the sunshine (er, shade) and enjoy as much juicy, ripe fruits and vegetables as we can!
I have the perfect savory and sweet recipes to help you soak in the end of the season—no ovens, fancy kitchen equipment, or big time commitments necessary. These are the easiest of the easy, and ideal for lazy afternoon picnics, sunset patio dining, and cozy campfires.
